Let’s give asylum seekers arriving in New York basic dignity. Some arrive without shoes - literally barefoot and most are very hungry. While the New York City Immigrant Affairs’ Office is working to place them all with relatives or in shelters, let’s make sure they don’t need to take another step in New York City barefoot.

Every dollar donated on this page to feed the needy at Masbia is an entry for one ticket to a raffle to win an exclusive mezuzah case! The drawing will be on Monday, July 18th in the afternoon. The Jerusalem mezuzah case is hand carved from solid pieces of wood from repurposed Masbia tables.

Throughout the Passover season, Masbia expects to serve 20,000 families through raw food distributions, which will include special holiday staples for families to be able to prepare their own Seder and Kosher for Passover meals.

Bring joy to so many needy men, women, and children. Donate to Masbia to fulfill the real mitzvah of Matanot La'Evyonim and Mishloach Manot.
The goal is to give out $421,200 worth of food this Purim season. We expect to serve 7,500 families at Masbia through our raw-food distributions, which will include special kosher holiday staples for families to be able to prepare their own Purim feast. Masbia will also serve 900 ready-to-eat meals on Purim three separate times for those who are unable to prepare food for themselves.

Masbia Relief – Jewish Community Bringing Relief To Victims Of The Bronx Fire
The Bronx building fire affected 118 families who lived there, with 17 dead, and many more injured. The Need is URGENT! We are now inviting families who are victims of the historic Bronx fire to go shopping for clothing, housewares, cleaning supplies, etc. We need your help to be able to invite more families to go shopping.

I chose to raise $5094 in the memory and honor of my grandmother. It is a well-known Jewish custom to donate in multiples of 18. Chai / life (18) x ozer / helper (283) = 5094. Thinking about my grandmother I felt this was the most appropriate combination. My grandmother spent her LIFE doing chesed and HELPING others whenever she could.

Emergency Trailer Drive - Load Up for Masbia - COVID19 Relief
Masbia Soup Kitchen Network's COVID-19 Relief Mobilization started in the beginning of March and is battling this historic food crisis with 500% more emergency food than before the outbreak. At the current rate, over twelve tractor trailer loads are given out every single week to the people standing on those unprecedented breadlines.

ponsor Food During This Historic Food Emergency - Help Fight the Hunger Wave - Masbia Soup Kitchen Network$42 sponsors seven ready meals to go for one person. $108 sponsors a jumbo double package of raw food for seven days for a family of four.
Since the outbreak, about 50% of the people joining the bread lines were new first-time clients at the Masbia Soup Kitchen Network, up from what’s usually about 5%. That’s a 1,000% increase in new clients.

COVID-19 EMERGENCY: Sponsor Food Relief to the Quarantined for Corona Prevention - Masbia Soup Kitchen NetworkMasbia increased the allowance of all food pantry clients to 14 days worth of food. A regular Masbia kosher food package includes food for 3 to 7 days worth of meals. Before Passover, we increase the package size to 6 to 10 days. Quarantined clients would need the package to be for 14 days.
